WITNESS Sermon

WITNESS...

And there are three that bear witness on earth, the Spirit, The water and the 

blood. And these three agree in one” 1st John 5:8

The fact that we are saved is the truth but the devil doesn't play a fiar game , he will still lie and try to decieve our Spirit that we are not and try to rub us of our rights. But the Holy Spirit stands as a witness ....

 Romans 8:16 

New International Version

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

WHY DO WE NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TESTIFY OR BEAR WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE SONS OF GOD? THE READON IS BECAUSE THE DEVIL THE LIAR WILL DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE A BELIEVRS DOUBT THEIR SALVATION AND SONSHIP .

A witness could be someone who heard or saw something related to the event that is being tried in court. Witnesses are extremely important when building evidence in a court case.

THE HOLY SPIRT WAS A WITNESS TO CHRIST DYING FOR US AND RISING...

IN FACT THE HOLY SPIRIT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD.....

 Romans 8:11 

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

....The witnessing of the Holy Spirit in us makes us beat the devil and his lies and gives us faith and Joy for our victorie..

THEREFOR HE IS A WITNESS, THAT WE NEED EVERY TIME...

Witnesses are necessary to back up the truth

Especially in a world where the truth is greatly fought against....

The truth is being buried, hidden,  covered, many times because the enemy often do so to keep people in bondage...

It has gotten to point that saying the truth or knowing the truth is not enough in this world that the truth  is hugely fought against...

There are situations where two drivers hit themselves but none accepts their fault though the offender knows him or herself,  they the innocent says the truth until they look at the camera installed at the ... 

The camera provides a witness ...

To what God did for us , He got himself witnesses ... so that they can strengthen our faith against the doubts the enemy wants to bring our way.

The Holy Spirit,  the word and the father are witnesses

THE WATER... IS THE WORD OF TRUTH...

THE WORD OF GOD ALSO BEARS WITNESS TO OUR SALVATION AND VICTORIES...

REMEMBER WITNESSES STRENGTHEN THE REALITY OF THE TEUTH IN US......

SO THE MORE OF THE WORD WE HAVE IN US THE MORE WITNESS WE HAVE....

THE BLOOD IS THE LAST WITNESS..
